More good news from the iOS world. Many people have asked whether or not their apps or games will be accepted by Apple if they create them in Flash. Well not only will they approve them (assuming their good) but they may also feature them as well. Pyramix is a great word game created by the folks from HD Interactive. For a couple of days it was in the New and Noteworthy section for word games in the app store!

I got a chance to meet with the HD Interactive guys when I spoke at the user group in Tampa and they’re are doing lots of cool stuff. Another one of their games, Mr. Mixit, is also very popular on Android and iOS. But back to Pyramix, it is a unique word game that has been getting some very nice reviews as shown below.

Now for the shocker. It is actually a Flex-based game! They are using Flex for container layout and other things while integrating some pure AS components as well. It was compiled using the AIR 2.7 SDK, which you will be able to get in a matter of weeks. My colleague Greg Wilson shot an interview with the developers that he will post later in the week. It will cover more of the technical features. Congratulations to HD Interactive!
